G20 is a forum of group of 20 economic cooperation. This group has an objective of shaping and strengthen the economical issues all over the world. India holds the Presidency of the G20 from 1 December 2022 to 30 November 2023. G20 has group of 19 countries Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Türkiye, United Kingdom and United States and The European Union. The G20 members represent around 85% of the global GDP.

G20 annual summit, that debuted in 2008, has evolved into a major forum for discussing economics as well as other international global issues. Spain in now invited as a permanent member. Every year host of this summit changed, the leaders of G20 members meet and discuss mainly economic and financial matters. Climate change has also been discussed in recent summits. Previous summits have addressed the COVID-19 pandemic, 2008 financial crisis, the Iranian nuclear program, and the Syrian civil war.
