What will happen if all world runs over Solar Energy? Read it now
Bhadla Solar park is the largest solar park all over the world. Bhadla solar park is a 2.25GW solar complex being developed in Bhadla village in Jodhpur district of Rajasthan, India.
The project was developed in four phases. Rajasthan Solar Park Development Company Limited (RSPDCL) develops the first two phases, Saurya Urja Company of Rajasthan developed the phase three, and Adani Renewable Energy Park Rajasthan developed the phase four.
The total estimated investment on the project is Rs98.5 billion ($1.4bn).
This solar park construction was started in July 2015. The area of this solar park is around 14000 acre and it is around half of the Paris City. Its total capacity is 2245MW and it can serve a big city alone. If we make 100 such power plants then there will be no need of any other power plant to generate electricity in India.
Now if we become dependent only on solar plants then what will happen?
- The country which will install such large solar power plants then other countries will be dependent on only that one country.
- Energy distribution will be a major issue because we can not store such amount of energy hence we have to distribute it all over the world which is a typical issue.
- Maintenance will be a big issue because solar panels are need to clean for proper absorption of sun light, if panels will not be clean then sun light will not be absorb and electricity production will be less.
- Next problem will be solar panel’s life cycle, because once they are install they have a limited life time of around 25 years after that they have to be replaced and the panel garbage will have to be recycled which is also a typical work.
These are the reasons why we can not use huge solar plants for electricity generation. Although we can use different numbers of small solar power plants for electricity generation at different areas which will have less cost, less maintenance, less distribution work and less dependency.
